Dr. Marcel Martin earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz in 2023, where his research focused on FAP inhibitor-based theranostics and radiolabeling with isotopes such as ⁶⁸Ga, ¹⁷⁷Lu and ²²⁵Ac. During his Ph.D., he was the inventor and developer of DualFAPi, a novel compound designed to improve targeted oncology applications. Marcel has authored patents, experience in clinical radiosyntheses of 68Ga- and 177Lu-radiopharmaceuticals. Marcel collaborated internationally with academic and medical institutions, bringing deep expertise in organic synthesis, translational research, and radiochemistry innovation. Within TetraKit, Marcel Martin works as Senior Radiochemist/Industrial PostDoc labelling radiohalogens with focus on 18F, 131I, 123I, and 211At including synthesis optimization, automation and upscaling. In addition, Marcel also works with various radiometals regularly.
