At EMIM 2026, Darja will present a talk on how novel FAP-targeted radiopharmaceutical expands theranostic strategies beyond conventional radiometals. By using a click-based tetrazine ligation approach, [¹³¹I]I-DualFAPi-5 was efficiently synthesized with high radiochemical yield and purity. In vivo studies in tumor-bearing mice demonstrated high and prolonged tumor uptake, minimal deiodination, and therapeutic efficacy comparable to the clinically established [¹⁷⁷Lu]Lu-DOTAGA.Glu.(FAPi)₂. These results highlight the potential of radiohalogenated FAPi dimers as a scalable and flexible platform for future theranostic applications.
